angel lore questionsI understand that in terms of FF lore, angel's don't really fit in! So I've come up with my own headcanons/descriptions to try and help that.In my eyes, the angels were created as servants/helpers for the twelve, much like some of the things you fight in the raid series. They are born of light aether, mixed with the aether of souls who have departed on the star, and are thus somewhat related to sineaters, but much less hostile/corrupted. There's different rankings among the angels, and after so long existing, some of the highers/seraphims, have become tainted by the light aether over time. Twisting their minds in ways to cause them to be cruel to their lowers, and not accept failure or 'sin'. The twelve are too preoccupied with other matters to notice the slow decline, and thus the angelic ranks have slowly dissolved or broken over time. Much less existing than there once was. Angels are often given jobs of varying kinds, from guarding spirits on the star, to protecting relics of the twelve. Some are messengers, hiding amongst mortals to spread gospel and keep faith in the twelve, and others are fighters born and bred.Feel free to use this for yourself should you want, I just wanted to explain my character lore!

ㅤEshreal is a sweet girl, she adores reading, helping around the ship and keeping tabs on the paperwork needed for their daily excursions. She's removed from her initial form of faith, though she still 'believes' in the Twelve and holds some small respect for them. Having only recently fully come into her own, she's still excited to learn new things and meet new people, doing her best to be polite and social to all she meets, no matter their background.

ㅤBiographyㅤㅤ
Eshreal is an Angel. A guardian to the pirate captain 'Lydia Stormfort' to whom she is tied to with the very strings of fate themself. Over the last few summers of her life, she's begun to change her faith, re-building her life from what was initially nothing more than a shield and eternal devotee, to that of her own person. Finally taking life as she wants to, instead of following the rules set upon her by the Seraphim above.Though, you wouldn't know that.Unless you were an Angel/Celestial yourself, or a Demon/Voidsent who could sense her presence.. You wouldn't have the slightest clue she's a celestial being. Just a Raen girl with an odd deformity that she's rather embarrassed about if asked. No no, to you, she's simply a Raen from Sui-no-sato, who left on a mission to spread the word of the gods, who had apparently reached her in her dreams, and somehow found herself aboard the famous pirate ship 'The Undaunted' in the process.

  • Lydia is eshreals beloved partner, who she is tied to by the strings of fate themself. She helps advise her, caring for her as best she can whilst being the one constant in the cursed vieras life.

  • New but beloved friend.

  • Koe is new to the crew, but is extremely welcomed. Eshreal loves to chat with her about botany, herbs and healing, and is always eager to learn more of Sui-no-sato, due to her memory of the place being almost non-existant now.

  • Crewmate/Respected Peer.

  • Nox is an interesting case, initially eshreal thought the crewmate didn't care for her. But upon examining it further, she knows now that she and the other woman have a solid respect for eachother.

  • Finn is fun, he's a warm and devoted heart on the ship, always caring for the other crew mates and taking up whatever chores he can to help out. Eshreal appreciates him being one of the first to properly chat with her when she joined.

  • Ame is one of Eshreals closer friends, the sleepy simulcrum woman proving a perfect person to read with, talk to and learn from. A constant well of knowledge who made her feel welcome and at home aboard the ship.

  • Nuvy is a curious cat. Eshreal's never met anyone SO obsessed with marine life before, but it's fun! Whenever she wants to learn something about them or talk for hours, she knows who to go to. It helps Nuvy is a lovely, kind, protective soul.

  • Crewmate/Friend.

  • Sitri is.. Chaotic, to say the least. The Void-like woman confuses her, but overall provides a warm joy to the ship itself, always able to make the people around her roll their eyes and smile. Even if she teases Eshreal too much.

  • Buisness Assosiate/Friend.

  • Trix is a mysterious type, One of Lydia's oldest friends, Eshreal appreciates the Succubi's dedication to her staff. One of the first people to change her mind on Voidsents. She has since become a trusted friend.

As a Custodian/Missionary of the Twelve, she has plenty to say on the matter. Specifically being a diciple of Nymeia, though she has thoughts on all of the Twelve.
